As an educator, my journey began in 2011 when I embarked on teaching 1st and 2nd-year university students. Guiding these students through their foundational years, I conducted lectures, seminars, and tutorials, instilling in them not just knowledge but also critical thinking and analytical skills vital for their academic journey. This period laid the groundwork for my passion for education and ignited my desire to make a lasting impact on students' lives. Transitioning from the university environment, I ventured into the dynamic landscape of secondary education across the UK. In various schools, I had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of subjects to students across different grade levels. Collaborating with fellow educators, I contributed to the development of curriculum and assessment materials, ensuring alignment with educational standards while fostering an environment conducive to learning. My dedication to education knows no borders. Venturing beyond the confines of the UK, I embarked on enriching experiences in private academies in Ethiopia and the UAE. Here, I encountered a melting pot of cultures and backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities. In these settings, I refined my teaching methodologies, designing personalized learning plans tailored to meet the individual needs of each student. I firmly believe that education transcends geographical boundaries and that every student, regardless of their background, deserves the opportunity to thrive academically. In addition to my institutional roles, I have also ventured into the realm of private tutoring, both face-to-face and online. This avenue has allowed me to connect with students on a more personal level, providing targeted support and guidance to help them overcome academic hurdles and unlock their full potential. Through regular communication with parents and guardians, I ensure transparency and collaboration in the educational journey, fostering a holistic approach to student development. My teaching philosophy revolves around empowering students to become lifelong learners, equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to navigate an ever-changing world.
