I am an American native English speaker, currently living in Abu Dhabi. I have been helping adults and children improve their English for over twenty years. I specialize in business and conversational English, IELTS and TOEFL prep, and creative writing. I have taught group and private courses with Eton Institute in Abu Dhabi, as well as a private tutor online with local and expat students. Most of the children I’ve taught attend the prestigious Repton School here, so I’m familiar with British English curriculum as well. My U.S. bachelor's degree in Advertising included a focus on copywriting—the words that go along with images in ads—so I can also help individuals working in sales or business excel at communicating clearly to their customers or colleagues. I love teaching people to express themselves well—I'm so happy when my students show improvement! I really enjoy getting to know my students and seeing how they can use their individual strengths to master the English language for work, school, or social settings.
